Triglav Base 12K is not just a run, but a run in one of the wildest parts of the Central Balkan National Park in Stara Planina. The route will take you through an emblematic hut - Rusalka.
Walking through the park is a touch of nature in its primeval form.
Besides old beech forests and wild paths, you will also pass by two unrealistic stones - Peacock and
Ivanchov, with breathtaking views of the Tazhansko Gorge.
The starting point of the route is the northern part of the picturesque village of Tazha, nestled at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountains. The view from it of the mountain and the rock massif is intoxicating.
